Este año la Constitución cumple 43 años de su existencia, una ley que contiene 168 artículos y que ha servido como elemento fundamental para que en estos años impere la concordia. El 6 de diciembre los españoles no solamente celebramos un aniversario muy importante para la democracia; celebramos el “libro sabio” que contiene los derechos y deberes de todos nosotros y nosotras. Un 29 de diciembre de 1978 entró en vigor y ha supuesto la garantía más importante de la paz.
Como dice el cuento: “en aquel país los indios estaban siempre en guerra, hasta que un grupo de indios sabios se reunió con todos los jefes de las distintas tribus y le indicaron la necesidad de redactar unas normas para que todos supieran cuáles son sus derechos y sus deberes y lo más importante: que fuera un grupo de normas que posibilitaran el respeto y la concordia. Así lo hicieron y al cabo de un tiempo presentaron a todos los jefes de las distintas tribus: “El libro sabio”.
Como esos indios sabios, los padres de la patria diseñaron una norma básica para que los ciudadanos aprendieran el valor del respeto. La escuela no puede vivir de espaldas a este acontecimiento que debe celebrarse con alegría en las cuatro paredes de cada aula y en el patio de todos los colegios. Los niños y niñas deben conocer “nuestro libro sabio” para saber el valor de lo que tenemos y el trabajo para conservarlo.
